History Of Hip Hop

Reflection:
As I was researching the history of hip hop, I discovered that there is more to hip hop than the music that is produced. I learned that it was a culture and that it had many different contributions that make hip hop what it is today. As I learned about the culture I also found out about the founders of hip hop as well as the birthplace of hip hop. I also learned about how the hip hop culture is constantly changing from going from old school hip hop which had elements of funk to the new school hip hop which has other genres mixed in.

The grim day starts off

slow

Life seems to be repetitive

No one around seems to be attentive

Ignoring the things that glow

Once the drum kicks

and the bass hits

What seemed to be boring

turns life into something

you should be discovering

The white monstrous clouds

Show a movie from above

The wonders that the world brings

should be something more than love

The notes that seem simple

are secretly ample

The notes that synergize

is like a gift in disguise

What makes your heartbreak

and cause a heartache

These notes will cure

They will for sure

What bad happens in the world

will seem like a blur

It creates you to a cartographer

trying to find a way to the dreamworld

that will change you
